The last few years have been interesting for LA Knight as he took on a new name and gimmick when he was called up to the main roster as Max Dupri. As Max Dupri, Knight was part of the Maximum Male Models stable alongside his kayfabe sister Maxxine Dupri. Obviously LA Knight has walked a different career path since Triple H took over in 2022, but Maxxine Dupri’s name has not changed.
During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Maxxine Dupri was asked if she’s still related to LA Knight, and she joked that the former United States Champion is her brother.
“That is my brother. And you know what’s insane. I have a huge match on Monday versus Becky Lynch. And do you think my brother has called me to offer any advice or train me? No, he has not, and our mother is worried about him. He’s out here living by a new name, it’s crazy. It’s a whole thing. Like, if he would like to show up to a family reunion, we would be so happy to welcome him with open arms.”
When asked if there’s been any conversation about changing her name Maxxine said, “No. I know it is kind of funny, but no, I haven’t heard anything.”
