Corey Graves certainly didn’t do himself any favors when he took to Twitter to criticize Mauro Ranallo’s performance at NXT TakeOver: War Games by posting the following:
Mauro Ranallo then missed Survivor Series the next, day and Michael Cole claimed that Ranallo blew his voice out. However, it was later reported that the story about Ranallo blowing his voice out was only a cover story.
Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Mauro Ranallo is in “rough shape” and that he’s been in bad condition over the last few days.
It’s being said that the Mauro situation is a “day to day” thing. WWE has reportedly contacted his manager, Frank Shamrock, who told the company that Mauro will return when he’s able to.
As noted, Corey Graves recently apologized for his comments on the After the Bell podcast.
