Goldberg recently returned to WWE during the special Legends Night edition of Monday Night Raw, and he confronted Drew McIntyre after the main event. The Hall of Famer challenged McIntyre to a WWE Championship match, and it has since been confirmed that the match will take place at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
It’s no big secret that Matt Riddle has had his issues with Goldberg in the past, and he’s openly criticized the former Universal Champion many times.
Following this week’s episode of Raw he took another shot at Goldberg when he posted a photo with himself next to Gillberg, and said that Gillberg is “10 times the man” that Goldberg will ever be.

It doesn’t seem that the beef between Riddle and Goldberg is going to be squashed anytime soon, but a match between the two seems unlikely.
One way or another Goldberg will get his chance to become WWE Champion when he challenges Drew McIntyre for the belt at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday, January 31.
