Matt Riddle hasn’t been shy at all when it comes to criticizing WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg and on Sunday night Goldberg returned to the ring to face Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam.
Riddle was backstage for the event and during WWE Watch Along he revealed that he had a tense interaction with Goldberg.
When Pat McAfee asked which match Riddle was most looking forward to he picking Goldberg vs. Ziggler and McAfee noted that he heard Riddle and Goldberg crossed paths at SummerSlam.
According to Riddle he saw Goldberg’s locker room and he was peaking around when Goldberg suddenly bumped into him aggressively with his “big shoulder, 300 lbs at least.”
“He goes, ‘we got some talking to do!’ And I’m like, ‘well we can talk anytime bro!’ He’s like, ‘yeah?’ And I’m like, ‘yeah!’ And I was like, ‘alright, bro, anytime.’ And he’s like, ‘I’m not your bro!’ And I’m like, ‘Alright, bro. Take it easy. whatever’ And then he’s like, ‘yeah, we’ll see. I’ll see ya later. And hey, it was a pleasure meeting you.’ And I go, ‘the pleasure was all mine, bro.’ And then he goes, ‘I’m not your bro.’ And then I walked away, I had to come here.”
Pat McAfee also noted that the interaction was filmed.
