Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero have been on an Expedition of Gold and they’ve been collecting tag team titles from various promotions over the past few months. The team brought cameras along to film their expedition, and the original plan was for the footage to air on Impact Wrestling.
Well those plans went out the window recently when The Broken Hardys parted ways with Impact Wrestling and fans feared that most of the footage would never see the light of day.
Thursday evening before Impact aired on Pop TV, Matt Hardy sent out a warning to Impact Wrestling officials telling them that if they didn’t air footage from the Expedition of Gold, he would have Vanguard 1 procure the recordings and he would release them himself.
In the end the footage never aired on Impact Wrestling and Vanguard 1 must have been successful, because Matt Hardy released a video showing the Broken Hardys winning the Omega Tag Team Titles at a CWF event.
The Expedition of Gold is one of the most unique concepts that the professional wrestling industry has seen in recent years. You never really know where The Hardys are going to show up, so if you’re attending a professional wrestling event in the near future which features a tag team match with gold on the line, keep an eye out for The Broken Hardys as they may just show up and try to procure that gold.
