A few months ago, Matt Hardy took a step away from in-ring competition in order to focus on his health, and since then he’s been rehabilitating his body.
There have been a lot of rumors making the rounds regarding Matt’s future, but he’s insisted that he is not retired.
The former Raw Tag Team Champion recently shared a big update on the status of his career when he revealed on Twitter that he’s been “physically greenlit.”
Hardy posted the following:
“No, I am not retired & not going to be retiring anytime soon. I’ve worked my ass off to rehabilitate & have physically been greenlit. My body is in the best shape it’s been in in years & I’m the lightest I’ve been in 20 years.”
At this point it’s not clear when, or if, Matt Hardy will be returning to TV, but it doesn’t seem that he plans on hanging up the boots in the near future.
