Matt Hardy’s WWE contract expired on March 1st, and now everyone’s waiting to see what he’s going to do next.
It’s been rumored that Hardy is AEW bound, and he threw fuel on the fire when he had The Young Bucks make a surprise appearance on the latest episode of his Free The Delete series.
PWInsider recently interviewed Matt and asked him about WWE’s reaction to the appearance, and he noted that some people were super supportive.
“Yeah, I mean there were a lot of, I got a lot of hell yes, because that was awesome. And people were super supportive. Once again, I left on very good terms and I’m sure when it’s all said and done I’ll do WWE Hall of Fame and stuff like that. I mean, I might be there before then. I don’t know what the future holds. I’m just trying to take the best path for myself and my creative wants and also my family.”
Matt Hardy noted in a recent interview that he plans to reveal his next move in the next 30 days, if not sooner.
Stay tuned for updates on his future.
