Matt Hardy has taken a step away from in-ring competition, and even though Jeff is still active in the ring fans know that he won’t be wrestling forever.
Throughout the course of their career as a tag team, and their runs as singles competitors the Hardys have accomplished a lot, and it’s safe to say that they will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame someday.
Matt Hardy recently spoke to Sam Roberts at Ringside Fest, and when he was asked about a possible Hall of Fame induction he said that he would like Michael Hayes to be the one to induct himself and Jeff.
“I would say the person I would want to induct myself and my brother would be the person who took us under his wing and taught us more about the wrestling business than anyone else. That is Michael P.S. Hayes. I’m sure his intro would be long but it would be super good, because he is entertaining as hell,” Hardy said via Wrestling Inc.
