It looked like The Hardys were set to dominate the tag team division when they won the SmackDown Tag Team Titles shortly after WrestleMania earlier this year, but their run was unfortunately cut short because Jeff had to take time off due to injury.
It’s been some time since fans have seen Matt Hardy wrestle on WWE programming, but Matt made his surprise return to Monday Night Raw this week.
Hardy received a warm welcome from the fans, and then he faced off against Buddy Murphy.
Unfortunately for Matt he wasn’t able to pick up the victory, as Buddy Murphy put him away after delivering three knees to his face.
