Broken Matt Hardy and his Brother Nero might have landed in Ring of Honor after traveling through space and time, but the WWE Universe obviously still holds a candle for their Broken Brilliance.

If you were paying close attention to last night’s Smackdown Live broadcast, you would have noticed some very strategically placed “DELETE” signs hovering above Shane McMahon’s shoulder during the his time in the ring. We can only assume those signs were taken away as quickly as a Hulk Hogan sign in 2017, but they still made it on the live television broadcast.
Broken Matt Hardy recently commented on these signs in a manner that could only come from his exceptional character.
Jerry “The King” Lawler has a new podcast, “Dinner With The King.” It’s a pretty good podcast with sounds of silverware and clinging plates inserted in the background throughout to give the impression he is sitting down at dinner. It’s a nifty concept, but the background noise can get a little distracting at times.
It is a very informative podcast though. During the first episode of the podcast the WWE Hall of Famer said he will be participating in WrestleMania by announcing one match and he will be on the kickoff show in some respect.
He said when he heard he was off the announce team he was called and told they were simply changing things up. He was moved to the pre-show then it was cancelled. Therefore they didn’t have anything for him because they were putting newer voices on WWE television, King said he got the call from Michael Cole to inform him of this as his family was walking into Disney World.
He also said WCW never tried to get him under contract back in the early 1990’s because Jerry Jarrett and Lawler owned the Memphis territory. In 1992, Vince McMahon offered Jerry Jarrett a contract and began using the Memphis territory as the equivalent of what NXT is now.
He goes into many more subjects including his future plans, the joke The King made about Nia Jax’s size on Raw Talk following Fastlane, and his thoughts about social media.
It’s a neat listen, and you can check that out here.
