Matt Hardy Comments On The Final Deletion Possibly Airing On WWE Network

WWE recently sent out a survey to fans gauging their interest in new content that could potentially air on the WWE Network. The survey had several options for fans to vote on original content, and it also had a few options where fans could express their level of interest in watching content from other promotions such as ROH, Impact Wrestling and more.

One person who seems to be excited about the idea of Impact Wrestling content airing on the WWE Network is Matt Hardy. Earlier this year when The Hardys parted ways with Impact, the relationship between the two parties soured big time when Impact claimed ownership of the Broken Hardys gimmick and all things related to the Broken Universe.

If Impact content does end up airing on the WWE Network, that means fans could potentially watch The Final Deletion, Delete Or Decay and Total Nonstop Deletion. A fan brought the survey to Matt’s attention and he responded with the following:

It should be noted that Impact recently announced plans to launch the Global Wrestling Network which is their own version of the WWE Network, and Anthem’s Ed Nordholm told Wrestling Observer Radio that he it doesn’t make sense to sell the library to WWE.

“I know full well how the WWE Network would monetize the content and what they could pay for the library,” he said. “It makes no sense for me to sell it for that kind of price. I’d rather keep it, put it up on the app, and monetize it myself.”

Impact officials have also denied rumors that Anthem wants to sell the company, but then again that’s exactly what Impact officials were doing this time last year only a few months before the company was sold to Anthem.

On that note, around this time last year a similar survey was also being sent out to WWE fans gauging their interest in Impact Wrestling content airing on the WWE Network, but nothing ever came of it. So, it doesn’t seem likely that The Final Deletion will make its way to the WWE Network anytime soon, but then again, stranger things have happened in the world of professional wrestling.
