Matt Hardy Calls Himself Out

When The Hardys returned to WWE earlier this year, they returned without the Broken Hardys gimmick, but they found success with their old Team Xtreme gimmick. The brothers were doing well in the tag team division, but unfortunately their momentum came to a halt when it was discovered that Jeff Hardy was working injured, and he had to undergo surgery.

Jeff is currently sitting on the sidelines, and for the past few weeks Matt has been drifting throughout the card, but fans saw something very encouraging on Monday night.

After his match with Bray Wyatt on Raw, Matt Hardy snapped and he started chanting “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!”

It seemed that Matt was showing signs of his old Broken Matt Hardy character, and he has since changed his Twitter name to #WOKEN Matt Hardy.

Matt had been teasing the Woken Matt character a few months ago, but now it looks like WWE is moving ahead with the gimmick.

During his time as Broken Matt, the Broken One constantly called out spot monkeys in the world of professional wrestling.

Matt attempted a moonsault during his match with Bray Wyatt, but he missed, and now he’s calling himself out for showing signs of a “spot monkey ADDICKKTION.”

It looks like things are going to get interesting for Matt over the next few weeks, so stay tuned.
