For months now the wrestling world has been talking about Matt Hardy’s next move, and on March 1st his WWE contract expired.
It’s been rumored for some time now that Matt Hardy would be joining All Elite Wrestling, and on Wednesday night he made his debut on AEW Dynamite.
Matt debuted during an audience-free Dynamite episode which aired live from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL and it was confirmed that he will be the fifth member of The Elite’s team when they face The Inner Circle at Blood and Guts.
Hardy commented on his big debut when he took to Twitter to say he’s proud to be a part of AEW.
“Considering the uncertainty of the current world we’re all living in, last night’s
@AEWonTNT was the best audience-free pro wrestling TV broadcast yet..
And I’m ready to fight over it. Proud to be a part of
