It’s been a while since a WWE show has taken place in an arena, as the company moved all TV tapings to the WWE Performance Center some time ago due to the coronavirus pandemic.
WWE has been doing a combination of live and taped shows, and the company has already taped content for Raw next week.
On next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw Kairi Sane is set to face off against Nia Jax, and according to Dave Meltzer Sane was busted open while taping the match.
The match was reportedly stopped, and it’s being said that Kairi Sane was cleaned up after a “significant head cut.”
“For people asking about Kairi Sane, she was busted up in the match with Jax taped today for next week. Just know they stopped the match to clean her up. Didn’t hear about any injury past a significant head cut.”
I'm just informing people of the injury since a lot of stories have gotten out. Probably not a good idea to rush to judgment on blame just yet. Injuries are common in wrestling and part of the game, without having the incident described, it's too early to point fingers. https://t.co/rGXYeYO8wr
