CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy was the feud that everyone was talking about back in the summer of 2009. Punk had cashed in his second Money in the Bank briefcase to become World Heavyweight Champion at Jeff Hardy’s expense during Night of Champions. Hardy then spent the summer battling with CM Punk and their feud carried them all the way to SummerSlam.

Their feud became brutal and there was only one way to settle it. On August 23rd, 2009 Jeff Hardy and CM Punk went to war in a TLC that will be talked about for many years to come.
