It doesn’t matter what rumors fly nowadays in regards to how Triple H feels about Mick Foley. The fact of the matter is that Mick Foley put Triple H on the map in late 1999 and early 2000. Without Mick Foley Triple H never would have gotten over as a legitimate main eventer. Not only did Triple H win his first world title from Mick Foley but jolly old saint Mick went above and beyond to make sure Triple H looked like the most intimidating superstar at that time.
After a long feud that played out over the course of a few months Triple H and Mick Foley found themselves in a Hell in a Cell match at No Way Out 2000 with Foley’s career on the line. Foley and Triple H had many classic matches during their feud and this is just one of them. Throughout the match Foley does everything he can to overshadow his 1998 Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker and although he doesn’t top it…he comes pretty damn close.
This is a defining moment in both men’s careers and without a doubt a must see for any wrestling fan!
