James Storm and Bobby Roode once made up one of the greatest tag teams in TNA and possibly all of wrestling history when they paiered together to create Beer Money. The two of them made an unlikely duo that quickly became one of the most entertaining things about TNA. Fast forward to the fall of 2012 and both Roode and Storm were trying to make it as singles wrestlers and Bobby Roode earned himself a title shot against Kurt Angle at Bound For Glory 2012.
Bobby Roode would go on to lose his title match against Kurt Angle only for James Storm to get a shot against Angle where he became TNA World Champion a few days later. James Storm agreed to give his tag team partner Bobby Roode a title shot on an episode of Impact and Bobby took the title from James thanks to the fact that he smashed a beer bottle over his head.
That beer bottle shot changed everything and kicked off one of the greatest feuds in TNA history. A few months later James Storm earned himself a title shot against Bobby Roode in his hometown at TNA’s PPV Lockdown. What follows is a brutal match that tells the story of best friends turned into bitter enemies.
