Today’s match of the day is what many people thought to be the best women’s wrestling match of 2013 and we aren’t going to argue. Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell put on quite the show in this last knockout standing match and almost stole the show at TNA Slammiversary 2013.
We were actually there to watch this match live and it was interesting watching the mood of the crowd change. For the first few minutes the crowd wasn’t into it even going so far as to chant “boring” at both Gail and Taryn but by the end of the match, the crowd was chanting “holy shit.” These two ladies pulled out all the stops in this match and completely raised the bar for women’s wrestling in general. If you’ve never seen it before, you’re in for a treat.
