WWE cameras caught up with the new Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler as he arrived at the arena for SmackDown tonight, and Dolph was asked what he’s looking forward to on tonight’s episode. He responded by saying that he’s looking forward to addressing all the people that have supported him over the years, then he was informed that the Spirit Squad is at the arena.
Dolph said he wants to get his hands on the two of them, and he said that maybe General Manager Daniel Bryan can help him out.
Daniel Bryan then responded by saying that if Dolph Ziggler wants to fight the Spirit Squad he can do it tonight on SmackDown Live.
The Spirit Squad returned on WWE SmackDown Live last week, and they attacked Dolph Ziggler. Eventually Dolph Ziggler got the upper hand and cleaned house.
The two remaining members of the Spirit Squad returned once again at No Mercy and tried to cost Dolph his Career vs. Title match, but they were unsuccessful in their attempt.
