WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry is one step closer to achieving his weight loss goals, and he recently took to Twitter to show off a picture of his transformation along with a caption saying, “20 pounds to go.”
Mark Henry last competed in the Greatest Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia back in 2018, and his last singles match took place in February of 2017.
One way or another it looks like Henry may not be done with in-ring competition as he stated during an appearance on Booker T’s Hall of Fame podcast that he was looking to drop some weight so he can return.
“I didn’t do that and I feel guilty. That’s why I’m doing it. I figured, I’m going to wait till I’m 50, so the expectation is lower and people don’t expect me to go out there and have a 20 minute 5-star match. Just to be honest, I gonna go out there in really good shape. I’m already 80 pounds lighter than I was when I had my last match, I’m going to be in really good shape and it’s going to take a good man to beat me but it might not take long.”
