Mark Henry has had an impressive career with WWE, and he’s set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Friday, April 6. There’s been a lot of talk about Henry’s status over the last few months in regards to whether or not he’s retired, and he recently clarified his stance on a return to the ring during a recent interview.
According to Henry, he’s retired for now because he’s too beat up to compete for the next year or two, but he went on to say he won’t rule out a return in the future.
“If it was a perfect circumstance and something happened down the road, yeah,” Henry told TMZ Sports.
As of right now Mark Henry’s Hall of Fame inductor has yet to be announced, but Henry did note that he wanted it to be Big Show because of their close friendship.
“Man I wanted Big Show, because he and I have an unbelievable relationship. He’s like a brother to me. He knows me, and travels the road with me. We ride together. He knows my family, I know his. It’s beyond a wrestling friendship.”
