For many years the female Superstars of WWE were known as Divas, and the Women’s Championship was known as the Divas Championship.
But the Divas Championship is now retired, and WWE has moved away from the idea of marketing their Superstars as Divas.
However, some people feel that the era of the WWE Divas deserves more recognition, and Maria Kanellis appears to be one of those people.
Maria recently held a Q&A session on Twitter, and when one fan asked her what she would want to change about the current era of women’s wrestling, she said she would bring the Divas Title back.
When questioned further about why she would want to bring the title back, she responded by saying that the champions who held the belt were an important part of the evolution of women’s wrestling in WWE.
