Sunday night’s WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view was action packed right from the start, as Carmella won the first ever women’s Money in the Bank match, and a former WWE star returned while a new star debuted.
It was rumored leading up to Money in the Bank that Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis were spotted in St. Louis, and they made their debut Sunday night after the SmackDown Women’s Championship match.
After the match some hearts appeared on the LED entrance ramp, and Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis entered and introduced themselves as Mike and Maria Kanellis.
Maria said that the first lady is back, and they talked about how in love they are. Maria’s promo was very similar to what she was doing in Impact Wrestling just a few months ago where she made her way to the entrance area and talked down to the crowd.
It was recently reported that Mike and Maria signed a deal with WWE months ago, and it’s rumored that they would be joining SmackDown Live.
Roxy Astor and Sunny The California Girl from GLOW joined this week’s episode of Still Real Radio to talk about what’s going on with the GLOW girls, their AfterGLOW cruise and more. Jeff Timmons from the band 98 Degrees also randomly makes an appearance, and we run down our predictions for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
