This week’s episode of NXT was the special Halloween Havoc episode, and the show featured a big title match which saw Raquel Gonzalez defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Mandy Rose. It ended up being a big night for Mandy Rose as she managed to defeat Raquel to win the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time in her career. Following her big win Rose took to Instagram to post a selfie showing off what she called the “Body of a champ 😝.”
NXT was relaunched as NXT 2.0 back in September and since then Mandy Rose has been one of the focal points of the women’s division. Toxic Attraction members Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne also managed to win gold on Tuesday as they defeated Io Shirai and Zoey Stark to become the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, so it seems that the group will be a force to be reckoned with in NXT 2.0.
