When Malakai Black first debuted with All Elite Wrestling he was established as a force to be reckoned with. The former NXT Champion went on to form the House of Black stable, and some fans have been less than thrilled with the way Malakai Black has been booked.
One fan recently pointed out on social media that Malakai Black didn’t wrestle any singles matches on AEW programming in 2023. Another fan followed up and claimed that Black isn’t getting singles matches because he refuses to be pinned.
The comment caught the attention of Malakai Black himself who posted the following response:
“Usually I don’t reply because these laughable takes from goofb*lls like this nerd is why this place is the equivalent of people opening their front doors and screaming their excrement laced opinions into the street, however: bull*****, never happened, isn’t a thing. Happy NY.”
At this point in time it’s not clear what the future holds for Malakai Black, but it’s clear that there are a number of fans who are hoping to see him return to singles competition.
