This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw is shaping up to be an interesting one, but one name who won’t be featured on the show is Becky Lynch. Earlier today The Man announced that she wouldn’t be at Raw and it was later reported that she’s dealing with a minor injury.
Fightful Select reports that Becky had been dealing with a minor foot injury that had been exacerbated recently. As of last Monday, Becky Lynch was scheduled to be part of this week’s show, but it’s being said that there are no issues between Lynch and WWE. However, Lynch recently got people talking when she changed her name on Twitter to Rebecca Quin and dropped her verification badge.
It’s being reported that Becky Lynch signed a new deal with WWE when she returned in 2021 and it was a three year deal that is currently set to expire in June of 2024. Becky’s time off for maternity leave will have no impact on when her contract expires. So far the two sides have not entered negotiations for a new deal.
There are said to be several deals that are set to expire in 2024 as WWE was at one point signing talent to multi-year deals way before their original deals were set to expire.
It was noted the Becky Lynch has made connections in Hollywood and at one point was set to appear at the end of a Marvel movie. Stay tuned for more updates on her status as they become available.
