The landscape in wrestling has certainly changed out the last few years as fans have seen a number of companies such as AEW, AAA, NWA, NJPW and more crossover. This week episode of NXT featured a surprise appearance from the Total Nonstop Action Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace who revealed that she will be challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at Battleground.
With Jordynne Grace making an appearance in NXT everyone is wondering if we could see a current WWE star making an appearance in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
Recently Drew McIntyre took to Twitter to tease a possible return to the company while reminding everyone that he previously won the promotion’s World Heavyweight Championship when he posted the following:
“Doors open both ways.”
At this point in time it’s not clear if Drew will actually end up returning to his former home, but PWInsider is reporting that there more crossovers between the two companies are expected in the days to come.
