Money in the Bank aired live from Toronto on Saturday night and the show gave fans plenty to talk about. Drew McIntyre won the men’s Money in the Bank match, and he went on to cash in his title shot during the Seth Rollins vs. Damian Priest match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Drew entered the match and turned it into a triple threat, but ultimately his hopes of winning the belt were crushed when CM Punk appeared out of nowhere and attacked him. Damian Priest ultimately retained his title.
Following the match Drew McIntyre was furious and he ended up shoving Adam Pearce during the post-show. Adam Pearce recently took to Twitter to announce that both CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been fined, and Pearce also announced that McIntyre has been suspended indefinitely.
In addition to the suspension announcement it’s also been confirmed that The Awesome Truth will team with Braun Strowman to face The Judgment Day on Raw. Zelina Vega & Rey Mysterio will also team up to face Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio on Monday night.
Stay tuned for updates.
