Major WWE Star Returning Soon?

It’s been an eventful year for WWE and several stars on the roster have provided fans with some big moments. Seth Rollins was arguably the MVP of WrestleMania 40 and he took some time off following the show.

The Visionary made his big return to the ring a few months later at Money in the Bank when he challenged Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Money in the Bank premium live event. Drew McIntyre ended up cashing in his Money in the Bank contract during the match, but in the end it was Damian Priest who retained the title.

Following the title match at Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins went on to work as the special guest referee for CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. The next night on Raw, Seth teased a possible match with CM Punk, but Seth was written off TV when he was destroyed by Bronson Reed.

On Sunday night Seth Rollins was in attendance for the Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills game, and WWE posted a video of Seth on the field. In the video The Visionary hyped up the upcoming Bad Blood premium live event and teased that fans aren’t going to want to miss it when he said, “Don’t forget to watch SmackDown, Fridays on USA, 8 Eastern, 7 Central. And October 5th, only on Peacock, WWE brings to you Bad Blood. You’re not gonna want to miss it.”

With the video now making the rounds on social media fans are speculating that Seth Rollins could be making his big return at Bad Blood, but that has not been confirmed at this point in time. It was reported back in August that even though Rollins was cleared he would be taking time off because he was banged up.

Stay tuned for updates.
