Major WWE Star Reportedly Taking Time Off After WrestleMania

WrestleMania is WWE’s biggest show of the year and soon Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Reigns has held the Universal Championship for over 900 days, but it looks like he could be stepping away from WWE after WrestleMania 39.

WrestleVotes recently told GiveMeSport that Roman Reigns is expected to take a significant break following WrestleMania and he could be out for a month or longer. There is also speculation that fans might not see The Tribal Chief until SummerSlam.

“I can imagine there’s probably a significant break, at least a month even longer, until there’s a major show that requires Roman Reigns. You may not see him until SummerSlam though. He’ll be away for a little bit.”

According to the report the goal was for WWE to make Roman Reigns a major star, and they did that, so the expectation is that he will be part of every major show that WWE puts on.

However, WrestleVotes noted on Twitter that plans for Roman Reigns to take a break are contingent on whether or not he ends up losing the titles, and as of right now those plans are not certain.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
