For months now WWE fans have been waiting for WrestleMania and it was confirmed a few weeks ago that Rey Mysterio would be facing off against El Grande Americano on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Rey Mysterio teamed up with Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee to face American Made during the SmackDown before Mania, and Mysterio suffered an injury at some point. Following the match footage of Mysterio being helped to the back started making the rounds on social media which led to speculation regarding his status for WrestleMania.
Ahead of WrestleMania 41, Rey Mysterio announced that he is not medically cleared to compete. The former WWE Champion noted that a replacement has been found and he confirmed that Rey Fenix will be facing off against El Grande Americano tonight at WrestleMania.
