The next premium live event on WWE’s schedule is Night of Champions and the big show is set to take place from Saudi Arabia later this month. The show is set to feature some major title matches, but some heated feuds will also be featured on the card as well.
A few weeks ago Trish Stratus turned on Becky Lynch after they lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles and Trish has been taunting Becky ever since. Recently Becky challenged Trish to a match at Night of Champions, but it doesn’t sound like the feud is going to end there.
Fightful Select is reporting that early plans call for the Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch match to continue beyond Night of Champions. A match with Becky has been talked about ever since Trish returned to WWE on the road to WrestleMania, and it’s been rumored that there are plans for the two stars to face off at SummerSlam.
Only time will tell if this Stratus vs. Lynch feud gets extended all the way to SummerSlam, but one way or another it doesn’t sound like we’ll be seeing the end of it at Night of Champions. Stay tuned for updates.
