WrestleMania season is here and all eyes are looking ahead to the Show of Shows. Over the last few months Bron Breakker has been one of the top acts pushed on Monday Night Raw, so naturally most people assumed he would be featured in a prominent spot at WrestleMania. However, WWE recently confirmed that an injury has sidelined Breakker for the foreseeable future.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Bron Breakker underwent surgery this past week due to a hernia, but nothing is being said about a timetable for his return, and most of the details are being kept under wraps.
The report also noted that it’s being said a potential match between Breakker and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania is now in jeopardy. While no one has given a timeframe for Bron Breakker’s return the expectation seems to be that he won’t be back in time for WrestleMania 42 in April.
Bron Breakker last stepped into the ring at the Royal Rumble, but he was attacked by a mystery man before he could officially enter the Royal Rumble match. Oba Femi then eliminated Breakker immediately after he was thrown into the ring.
It’s being reported that the angle involving Breakker and the mystery man at the Royal Rumble was not related to Breakker’s injury, nor was he injured during the match.
