This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured a big title match as R-Truth and Damian Priest defended the WWE Tag Team Championship against The Miz and Kit Wilson.
Ahead of the match Danhausen told The Miz and Kit Wilson that he could come down to the ring and remove the curse so they could win tag team gold. However, Miz told him to stay away.
At one point during the match Danhausen made his way down to the ring while Kit Wilson was on the floor, and he got up on the apron then reached for the tag. The Miz was furious as he refused to tag Danhausen in while he told him that he doesn’t belong here.
After The Miz refused to tag Danhausen in, R-Truth, who was on the opposite team, tagged Danhausen into the match. The Miz got in Danhausen’s face, so Danhausen attempted to curse him again, but The Miz pulled the referee in front of him, so the ref ended up getting cursed instead.
Near the end of the match The Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale on R-Truth, and it seemed that he had the match won, but the cursed referee was unable to count the pin as his arm appeared to be injured as he tried to hit the mat for the three count. Damian Priest then connected with South of Heaven and the referee counted the pin with his other arm as Priest and Truth retained.
After the show the referee was getting checked out by WWE medical when he was approached by Danhausen. He told the referee that normally he charges human money for this, but since it was his fault he removed the curse for free.

Unfortunately for The Miz and Kit Wilson they are still cursed, but luckily this referee now gets to move on and live a curse free life thanks to Danhausen.
Stay tuned for updates.
