It’s been a while since fans have seen The Rock make an appearance on WWE programming, but it’s been rumored that the company was hoping to book The Great One for the Survivor Series pay-per-view in November.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast is reporting that The Rock will in Australia filming a movie on November 21st, which means Rock won’t be in attendance for the event.
This year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view will mark the 25th anniversary of The Rock’s debut at Survivor Series, and it’s being reported that he may make a video appearance on the show.
It’s also being reported that the focus in WWE has shifted to moving a potential Roman Reigns vs. The Rock match to WrestleMania 39, as there are people in the company who are adamant that it should happen in Los Angeles.
