Following the AEW All Out pay-per-view CM Punk and Ace Steel were involved in a physical altercation with The Elite, and several names were suspended following the brawl. It was recently reported that Ace Steel has been released and AEW is looking to buy out CM Punk’s contract.
Now Fightful Select is reporting that there’s talk that Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks will be returning to work, at least in a backstage capacity. One source noted that The Elite could return imminently, but an exact date for their return has not been confirmed.
Over the last few weeks the most movement has occurred following the brawl at All Out. A meeting was reportedly scheduled for last week, but the context of the meeting is unknown at this point in time.
There is currently no indication regarding when The Elite could return to AEW TV. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
