Tony Khan teased some surprises for AEW Grand Slam a few weeks ago and during the show former WWE Divas Champion Saraya made her debut. Saraya is now part of the women’s division, but there’s been a lot of speculation regarding whether or not she’ll be stepping into the ring.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Saraya has officially been cleared by Dr. Michael Sampson. It appears that AEW is building up a feud between Saraya and Britt Baker.
This week on Dynamite, Saraya got physical after Willow Nightingale, Toni Storm, & Athena faced off against the team of Jamie Hayter, Penelope Ford, & Serena Deeb. Saraya briefly brawled with Britt Baker then she hit Rebel with a superkick to end the segment.
There’s currently no word on when Saraya will be making her in-ring debut for AEW. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
