Randy Orton has been out of action for quite some time, but there’s been a lot of talk about The Viper’s potential return in recent months. At one point there was concern that Orton may never step into the ring again due to a back injury. However, it seems that the former WWE Champion could be getting closer to a return.
Fightful Select is reporting that Randy Orton was at the WWE Performance Center recently, and that the target for WWE and Orton is for The Viper to return by Survivor Series.
Whether or not Randy Orton will actually end up returning by Survivor Series remains to be seen, but the fact that both sides have a date in mind for a return is a good sign considering how long Randy Orton has been out of action.
Randy Orton wrestled his last match in May of 2022 when RK-Bro dropped the Raw Tag Team Titles to The Usos. With Matt Riddle now released and the RK-Bro tag team seemingly done forever it will be interesting to see how Orton is used when he does return. Stay tuned for updates.
