The annual WWE Survivor Series premium live event is quickly approaching and recently there’s been a lot of talk about which matches will be featured on the card.
Nick Aldis was named SmackDown General Manager earlier this month while Triple H also declared that Adam Pearce will be the General Manager of Monday Night Raw. Last week on Friday Night SmackDown it appeared that a rivalry between the two brands has kicked off which led to some speculation regarding a possible Raw vs. SmackDown match at Survivor Series.
It’s expected that there will be a War Games match taking place at Survivor Series this year, but Dave Meltzer recently noted on F4Wonline.com that the War Games bout will not be a Raw vs. SmackDown match.
“On last night’s show based on an angle, we talked about the possibility of a Raw vs. Smackdown War Games match at Survivor Series. We are told that right now the War Games match is not planned as a Raw vs. Smackdown match.”
One way or another Survivor Series is shaping up to be an interesting show as it looks like we will be getting a War Games match as well as a Raw vs. SmackDown match in some form or another. Stay tuned for updates.
