It’s certainly an exciting time to be a WWE fan as there have been several big returns ahead of WrestleMania season. The Rock recently returned on Day 1 Raw and he teased a match with Roman Reigns when he asked fans if he should sit at the head of the table. Now everyone is wondering where things will go from here regarding when or where the match could take place.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is currently reporting that rumors claiming The Rock vs. Roman Reigns will take place at Elimination Chamber in Australia are inaccurate. Roman Reigns is not currently scheduled for the show nor are there any plans for him at Elimination Chamber as of right now.
The Rock vs. Roman Reigns will presumably take place at WrestleMania 40. It was noted that WWE could possibly add Cody Rhodes and turn it into a triple threat match, but if that is the direction it won’t be known until weeks from now.
It’s not clear when The Rock could return to WWE programming, but he recently teased that he’s looking to make history and do things that have never been done before in WWE.
