Roman Reigns was champion for 1,316 days, but unfortunately for The Tribal Chief his historic reign came to an end at WrestleMania 40 when he was defeated by Cody Rhodes in the night two main event. Since then Roman Reigns has been off TV, but it looks like Reigns could be returning sooner than later.
PWInsider is reporting that Roman Reigns is expected to return to WWE by SummerSlam. At one point there were plans for Roman Reigns to make his return 2 to 3 weeks before SummerSlam.
Business has certainly picked up for The Bloodline following WrestleMania as Solo Sikoa kicked out Jimmy Uso then recruited Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu. Recently Solo Sikoa has declared that he is the new Tribal Chief and that if Roman Reigns wants the title of Tribal Chief back then he will have to take it from him.
Currently Solo Sikoa is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam, so it will be interesting to see how things play out once Roman Reigns makes his return to television.
