Major Update On Plans For Randy Orton At WrestleMania 41

0

Back in November of 2023, Kevin Owens took Randy Orton out of action when he hit him with a piledriver, and The Viper spent months sitting on the sidelines. Orton made his big return at Elimination Chamber last month when he delivered a big RKO to Kevin Owens. Shortly after it was announced that Orton and Owens would be facing off against one another at WrestleMania 41.

Unfortunately the Orton vs. Owens match was officially canceled a few weeks ago when Kevin Owens announced that he’s out of action indefinitely due to a neck injury. Fans have been wondering who would be stepping up to face Randy Orton on the Grandest Stage of Them All, and the situation was addressed on Friday Night SmackDown this week.

Randy Orton made his way to the ring during the show and talked about how he doesn’t have an opponent for WrestleMania. He said that there’s no way he’s sitting out this year as this will be the 20th time he’s competed at WrestleMania. The Viper told the fans that he’s going to show up to WrestleMania on Sunday, and he dared anybody who wants to face him to step up.

It appears that Randy Orton will be holding an open challenge during night 2 of WrestleMania 41 on Sunday. Stay tuned for more updates on Randy Orton’s opponent for WrestleMania as they become available.
