Cody Rhodes has been the talk of the wrestling world ever since he parted ways with All Elite Wrestling earlier this year, and it was recently reported that the three time TNT Champion has signed a contract with WWE.
Rhodes has gone through some changes since he parted ways with WWE in 2016, but it doesn’t sound like fans should expect him to revert to any of his old gimmicks when he returns.
WrestleVotes is reporting that two very high profile people in WWE are adamant that Cody Rhodes should be presented exactly as he was in AEW with the same ring gear, entrance music and pyro. The idea is to push the visual impact of the American Nightmare crossing the line.

It’s been rumored that Cody Rhodes will be making his return on the Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania 38, and it’s rumored that he will be facing Seth Rollins at the event. Chris Jericho also seemingly confirmed Cody’s return during a recent episode of Talk Is Jericho when he said that Cody is back with WWE.
