Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40, and The American Nightmare went on to successfully defend his title against AJ Styles at Backlash in France. It didn’t take long for Cody’s next challenger to step up as it was confirmed last week on SmackDown that current WWE United States Champion Logan Paul will be challenging Cody Rhodes at King and Queen of the Ring later this month.
Due to the fact that Cody and Logan Paul are both champions there’s been a lot of speculation over the last week as fans have been wondering if just one, or both titles will be on the line when they face off.
It seems that the upcoming bout with not be a title vs. title match as WrestleVotes is reporting that the plan for King and Queen of the Ring is for Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul to face off for only the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Tonight’s #SmackDown from Jacksonville: Tiffany v Bianca Belair is on the rundown as of now. Logan Paul gets his match v Cody Rhodes in Saudi for the WWE title ONLY & Orton vows war against the Bloodline.
