LA Knight has been one of the stars to watch in WWE for some time now and recently there’s been a lot of talk about his contract status. It was recently reported that Knight was close to signing a five year contract with WWE, but it doesn’t seem that a deal has been signed just yet.
Fightful Select reports that it’s true LA Knight and WWE have been in contract negotiations, and a five year deal was offered to Knight. However, it’s being said that the two sides are far apart on money, and as of right now no deal has been agreed to. A deal doesn’t appear to be imminent, but the two sides are set to continue negotiations.
A WWE higher up also said that there’s no truth to the idea that LA Knight’s push is tied to his contract status. It was noted that a significant number of wrestlers on the WWE roster have contracts coming up in 2024, and they are still being pushed.
One way or another LA Knight will be with WWE for the foreseeable future as his current deal has over a year and half on it and runs well into 2025. Stay tuned for more updates on LA Knight’s contract status as they become available.
