We’re currently on the road to WrestleMania 41 and it was recently confirmed that Kevin Owens is set to go one on one with Randy Orton on the Grandest Stage of Them All. However, it was reported earlier today that KO is dealing with an injury, and his WrestleMania match with The Viper could be in jeopardy.
Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com is reporting that the nature of the nature of the injury is being kept under wraps, but multiple sources have confirmed that it is legit and serious. Those close to Owens have not commented on the injury aside from one person who indicated that it was significant.
At this point in time it’s not clear where things will go from here, but Kevin Owens is expected to address his injury status during this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Kevin Owens last stepped into the ring when he faced off against Sami Zayn in an unsanctioned match at the Elimination Chamber premium live event on March 1st.
