It was an action packed weekend for WWE fans as Worlds Collide aired live from the Kia Forum and Money in the Bank emanated from the Intuit Dome. Mr. Iguana stepped into the ring at Worlds Collide and he quickly became a hot topic on social media.
Fightful Select reports that the reaction to Mr. Iguana at Worlds Collide was “we have to get him to the Intuit Dome for a Money in the Bank appearance.” There was a lot of praise for Mr. Iguana’s performance translating well on social media, and one source in NXT noted that they would be pushing for him to make appearances on the show.
It’s being said that Mr. Iguana was popular among the WWE roster as well with people asking to take pictures. Mr. Iguana was also approached for dozens of photos when he was seated behind the commentary table.
WWE higher ups commented on Mr. Iguana and called him a “pleasure” as he was happy to do any and all promotional work that was needed. Mr. Iguana’s shirt sold exceptionally well, and there have been talks about how to appropriately merchandise Mr. Iguana. One thing being discussed is the feasibility of producing iguana puppets.
