A few months ago FTR were pulled from TV and Dax Harwood later claimed on his podcast that their deals with the company were set to expire in April. Harwood claimed that the duo was taking time off from TV while they contemplated their next move with their careers. It seemed that Dax leaned into rumors of a possible WWE return when he posted a photo with paperwork featuring a WWE logo on it.
On Sunday night business picked up at the Revolution pay-per-view when FTR returned and made it clear that they want to challenge The Gunns for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
PWInsider is reporting that the belief is that FTR are under long term deals with All Elite Wrestling and that FTR being taken off TV and teasing a possible AEW departure was just a storyline. Fightful Select is also reporting that FTR’s return was kept very quiet backstage.
Dax also recently posted a tweet which said, “We ain’t done yet.” Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
