However, it’s been reported that WWE is not looking to bring CM Punk back at this time.
Fightful Select is now reporting that as of Monday night WWE’s stance on bringing CM Punk back for Survivor Series hadn’t changed. For weeks now Shinsuke Nakamura has been filming cryptic videos calling out someone whose identity has not been revealed. While some fans on social media have speculated that Shinsuke could be talking about CM Punk it’s being reported that talent who spoke on the subject have not been informed of the context of Shinsuke’s callouts.
On Monday Night Raw this week Cody Rhodes revealed that Randy Orton will be joining his team for War Games at Survivor Series. According to the report the reveal was done on Raw so that fans don’t go into Survivor Series thinking that CM Punk is the fifth member of the team.
