Monday Night Raw aired live from Buffalo, NY this week and The Judgment Day defeated Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins in the main event. Recently is was reported that wrestlers involved in the match got into an argument backstage after the show.
PWInsider is now reporting that a source reached out shortly after the original report broke and noted that the argument following the main event was simply a “difference of opinion” that was exacerbated due plans for the main event changing at the last minute.
The same source noted that plans were being re-worked for the match almost up until the second entrances took place. The issues were exacerbated when things didn’t go as planned in the ring.
The feeling is that the changes had a domino effect and led to things not being “as smooth as it would have been otherwise” when it came to what happened in the ring. The significance of the argument was played down with the source stating that they didn’t believe it would cause any additional issues moving forward.
It was noted that with WWE’s business currently on fire everyone is sensitive as they want to do their part to keep that going. The belief is that since there are so many hot acts in WWE that could lead to the butting of heads.
